We are actively developing the ticketing component of the Open Box Office Enterprise for Drupal project, and we expect our first release in the next few months.

The intention then, even more explicitly than now, was for OBOE’s ticketing and event management components to form a base for full-featured community-engagement web-based software with artist and performer management, volunteer self-management, donor tracking and on-line giving, and more.

The first software release of the Open Box Office Enterprise, or OBOE, project will be the Open Source Box Office Extension for Drupal (OBOE for Drupal). Currently under development, this open source, free software module for the well-regarded content management system will permit the purchase of advance tickets for user’s events through BrownPaperTickets.
